  Too early to think about Holiday travel for 2008? 2009? Not if you plan to visit any beach resort in Thailand, or Luang Prabang, anywhere in Vietnam or anywhere in India! Many hotels in all of these places were fully booked by May of 2007 for the following December and January, so we encourage our Members to decide as far in advance as possible to avoid isappointment.  If you plan to travel during next high season (October 2008 through March 2009) and are the kind of person who plans ahead, we have a great offer for you. We offer a plan-ahead discount to Members every year, but this year plan is simpler and the discount larger! Why Are We Doing This? Every year we reward Members who plan in advance. Honestly, it takes much more work and causes much more frustration when guests wait until the last minute to make their plans. We love to please our customers. However, we are less likely to give late-booking guests exactly what they want. This year you can take advantage of a discounts of 5% to 10% during high season depending on the total cost of all of the Purple Dragon packages arrangements purchased during that period. Take a 5% discount on purchases of $500 to $1,999, 7.5% on purchases of $2,000 to $3,499, and 10% on purchases of $3,500 or more. In a Hurry? If you reserve and pay for high season travel by 30 May 2008 you can take a 5% discount, no mater how much you spend. Not Ready to Decide? Want to take advantage of these discounts but not ready to set dates and make reservations? You can simply decide how much you think you will be spending and make an advance deposit in any amount over $1,000 LESS the appropriate discount and make your reservations later. You must give us your final itinerary request no later than 30 September 2008. Refunds for any reason are subject to a 50% penalty before 01 October 2008 and deposits are non-refundable thereafter.
Arrangements must be paid for by 30 May 2008 and are not transferable once they are issued. Discounts do not apply to custom tours, group travel arrangements, airfares, hotel-only or guide-only reservations
or "VIP" or "Ultimate" package price levels. Rules published in Purple Dragon's Terms & Conditions apply.

Everybody Loves Something Free! The Chedi, Chiang Mai: Members who book any of our Chiang Mai packages and stay at the Chedi Chiang Mai from April through September 2008 get one free night for every two paid nights. Le Paradis, Koh Samui: You will love this delicious new boutique hotel and spa located right on Chaweng Beach. Members who stay four nights using Purple Dragon's Samui package get one extra night fee, including breakfast. Other goodies include a fruit basket, daily afternoon tea, complimentary WiFi, free early check-in and check-out (subject to availability) and discounts in the restaurant and spa. This special offer for Members is available 1 March through 14 July as well as September and October 2008 and applies to all room types. Siam Heritage Hotel, Bangkok: Special discounts for Club Sanook Members who book Purple Dragon packages and stay at the Siam Heritage before the end of October 2008. Discounts range from $60 to $124. We can not publish these special prices so please ask us for details.

 On a budget but want to enjoy Phuket for a week or more? Our "Phuket Leisurely" Members-only package uses the delightful Club One Seven Boutique Hotel in Patong. helium balloon ascends to about 1,000 meters, giving you a spectacular view of

No, we can not send you a cake for
our birthday. We have tried in the past but the post office complained
about the mess. But we can offer something even better! Reserve one or
more Purple Dragon packages during your birthday month and take a 5% discount.
Book three or more packages during your birthday month and we help you celebrate
with a 10% discount on the most expensive and 5% off all the rest. Excludes VIP
and Ultimate hotels as well as custom travel programs and this plan can not be
combined with any other discounts or offers. (But feel free to ask. what the
heck!) We will need a copy of your passport showing your date of birth or a note
from your mother. You must reserve and pay for travel during your birthday month
although travel may be scheduled for any future date.

 Members: If you are planning to travel more than 60 days in advance and your land arrangements are expected to cost $1000 or more, we will simply accept a non-refundable deposit and begin to confirm all of your reservations immediately. If the total cost of your arrangements (excluding airfare) are under US$3,000 the required deposit is 50% of the total. If $3,000 or more, the required deposit is 25%. Once we receive your deposit we will immediately begin to confirm all necessary arrangements, regardless of how far in advance they may be. The remaining balance is due 45 to 60 days before you begin your trip depending on the seasonal cancellation policies of the hotels and other suppliers used. Prices are subject to change and currency exchange rate fluctuations until prepaid in full. |
